Rogue One isn't a new type of cinema experience, or unique. Rogue One, however, surprised me in probably being the best Star Wars movie produced in this millennia, and I'm being serious.įirst of all, manage your expectations. It wasn't perfect, but it was good, and got me back into Star Wars mode again. I saw and enjoyed Star Wars: Episode 7 a lot.
This review will be filled with hyperbole, but I won't apologize. The future of the entire galaxy now rests upon its success. Once a possible weakness in its construction is uncovered, the Rebel Alliance must set out on a desperate mission to steal the plans for the Death Star.
All looks lost for the Rebellion against the Empire as they learn of the existence of a new super weapon, the Death Star.
